The glass is produced by Yama Glass and has the same fine quality as all of the Yama coffee and tea makers, made in Taiwan. This is so easy to use. Don't listen to the bad reviews! I went ahead and purchased this product after a lot of research and despite what some of the negative reviewers say. No, it's not as easy as a normal coffee maker without the grinder, but then you don't get the freshly ground coffee either. I've had built-in grind coffee machines for awhile, and I can honestly say this little machine produces some of the best tasting coffee there is! The cleanup is easier than my old GE machine (with grinder).

I don't claim to understand why, but this machine just makes a better cup of coffee than any other machine I've ever tried. (and I've tried a lot!) Best pot ever We just purchased a replacement only because the years have taken their toll on the appearance, the pot itself still works great. We set it to brew at 3:00 am so we have coffee ready and hot if we get up at 4:30 am or 9:00 am. We originally purchased it because it was the only 12 cup we could find at the time ( we do need our morning coffee ). The biggest advantage is your coffee does not develope that burned taste coffee gets at about two hours on a burner. In fact it is still drinkable hot after dinner.We have had this pot for several years.

Best Coffee Maker I bought this machine because of the option to make smaller amounts of coffee instead of always having to make 12 cups.  All I do is press a button and it dispenses the exact amount!!  It keeps my coffee hot, thanks to the stainless steel carafe.  When I set it up at home, I started playing around with the functions and learned it has options to pre-program to my travel mug or my "Sunday morning" mug.   Plus, it looks sleek on my countertop!.   Really easy to use and program.
